Are you interested in helping to shape responses to climate change for the agriculture sector across Victoria and Australia. We are looking for an energetic team player to develop advice on reducing Victoria's agricultural emissions and to support increased national coordination on the climate change issues facing agricultural industries.
As Senior Policy Analyst you will work with another team member to lead the development of a commercialisation framework. This will establish actions for government and industry to accelerate the availability of emissions reducing solutions for the Victorian agriculture sector by 2030. In doing so, it will contribute to a shared government and industry priority for the sector to take ambitious climate action while maintaining productivity and profitability.
You will also be the key point of coordination for engagement with the Commonwealth and other jurisdictions on agriculture climate change issues, including providing advice on strategic priorities and preparing briefings for senior executives to support their attendance at Agriculture Senior Officials Committee and related interjurisdictional governance groups.
