The Senior Policy Officer oversees the integration delivery of transmission infrastructure for offshore wind aligned with specific project timelines. This position closely collaborates with VicGrid in the development of transmission infrastructure and its business case.

As the successful applicant, you will provide oversight of the transmission Client Requirement Document (CRD). This involves guiding offshore wind (OSW) policy settings, particularly in the areas of access arrangements, connections, and connection coordination, to facilitate the successful integration of Offshore Wind projects into Victoria's energy grid.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

• An appropriate tertiary qualification/s in port infrastructure, construction, supply chain, manufacturing or law is desirable.
• Demonstrated knowledge or expertise in energy, engineering, accounting and/or finance with a commercial focus is highly desirable.

This is a fixed term position available until 30 June 2027. The work location for this position is 8 Nicholson Street, Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.
