ABOUT THE ROLE
To establish and maintain close working relationships with across NSW Ambulance and external emergency management stakeholders to improve partnerships and interoperability in preparation for and during emergencies. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining cooperative, productive and professional working relationships with key stakeholders within the Sector.

ABOUT YOU
We are looking for candidates with the below experience and capabilities:
- High level of leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of and extensive experience in emergency management
- Sound analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret information, prepare written reports and deal with challenges creatively
- Demonstrated organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with a capacity to prioritise competing demands and achieve results within a customer focused approach
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the business as well as external agencies
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment

We are committed to providing high quality clinical care and health related transport services to over 7.25 million people in NSW, distributed across an area of 801,600 square kilometers.
The average number of ambulance responses increased by 3.3 per cent over the past year. Factors contributing to increased activity include population growth, an ageing population and the associated increase in rates of illness.
In 2013/14 we provided 1,234,843 total responses (both emergency and non-emergency) compared to 1,219,262 total responses in 2012/13. There were on average 3383 responses per day - this is equivalent to a response every 26 seconds.
