Boilermaker / Mechanical Fitter / Hydraulic Fitter

SOS Personnel is seeking an experienced Boilermaker, Mechanical Fitter and Hydraulic Fitter to join our client's operations located in the Adelaide metro area.

Boilermaker

· Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints

· Measure, cut, shape and weld metal components

· Inspect and test completed boilers/systems for safety and durability

· Perform routine maintenance and repairs

· Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently

· Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely project completion

Mechanical Fitter

· Install, maintain and repair mechanical equipment

· Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and optimal performance

· Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot equipment failures, implementing effective solutions to minimise downtime

· Perform mechanical fitting tasks including assembly, disassembly, alignment and adjustment of components and machinery

· Collaborate with other members of the maintenance team and departmental staff to coordinate maintenance schedules and prioritise tasks

· Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used and equipment condition

Hydraulic Fitter

· Assemble and fit hydraulic components

· Perform maintenance, diagnostics and troubleshooting on hydraulic systems

· Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and specifications

· Pressure test and commission new hydraulic installations

· Ensure all work is carried out to company and safety standards

· Maintain detailed records of work completed and parts used

To be eligible for these positions, you must have:

· Cert 3 qualifications

· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work to specifications

· strong problem-solving skills

· ability to work independently or as a member of a team

· ability to pass a drug and alcohol test

· strong communication skills

· Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues
