The Opportunity:
We’re seeking Mechanical Fitters to join our team on a full-time basis. This position involves maintenance and installation, pump rebuilds, gearbox overhauls, crusher rebuilds, and manufacturing of new equipment.

We also strongly encourage leading hands and supervisors to apply, with pathways available into team leadership roles.

About the Role:
You’ll be responsible for the mechanical rebuild, maintenance, and assembly of fixed plant equipment. The ideal candidate will be trade-qualified, detail-oriented, and experienced in precision fitting and fault diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dismantle, inspect, rebuild, and test pumps, gearboxes, crushers, and other mechanical plant components
• Manufacture and assemble new mechanical equipment as required
• Interpret mechanical drawings and service manuals accurately
• Perform fault-finding, preventive maintenance, and repair work on various plant machinery
• Use hand and power tools, precision instruments, and lifting equipment safely
• Work both in the workshop and on-site as project requirements demand

What You’ll Need:

• Certificate III in Mechanical Fitting or equivalent trade qualification
• Proven experience in mechanical rebuilds (pumps, gearboxes, crushers) and general fitting work
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
• Confined Space & Working at Heights tickets (within 2 years) or willingness to obtain
• EWP, Scissor Lift, and Boom Lift tickets are advantageous
