What are we looking for?
We are seeking a motivated, experienced, trade qualified individual to join our Maintenance Team at our Edinburgh North facility.
We are a hands-on team providing breakdown and preventative maintenance support for site plant and equipment.
Your responsibilities (not limited to):
Attending to repairs and breakdowns of production machinery in a timely manner
Improve unplanned downtime with planned maintenance activities and a preventative maintenance approach
Assist with implementing maintenance programs to support all internal stakeholders
Comply with relevant safety standards and quality assurance practices and ensure execution of those standards are part of all repairs and maintenance activities
Identify and escalate Workplace Safety, Food Safety & Quality issues, hazards, and risks
To achieve success in this role, you will need:
Previous experience working food manufacturing or FMCG (desirable)
Industrial experience in installations, fault finding, repairs and maintenance on manufacturing equipment
Willingness and ability to adapt to be an all-round maintenance team member assisting other trade qualified staff members with Mechanical, Fabrication, Pneumatics, Electronics etc
Ability to Tig weld (preferable)
Team focus, displaying effective communication with all staff members and stakeholders.
Organised & proactive self-starter with a creative / innovative problem-solving attitude
Knowledge and appreciation of Work Health and Safety requirements
Licences and Qualifications
Trade qualification Mechanical Fitter
Current Drivers' License and reliable transport
LF Forklift License
Elevated Work Platform Licence, or willing to obtain one
