About the role

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for guests? We are seeking a full-time Front Office Reception/ Guest Services Agent to join the team at Quest Cheltenham in Cheltenham VIC 3192. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a warm and welcoming experience for all guests, ensuring their needs are met throughout their stay.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and checking in guests promptly and professionally

Handling guest enquiries and requests in a courteous and efficient manner

Assisting guests with luggage, directions, and local area information

Maintaining accurate records and reports relating to guest stays and financial transactions

Assisting with the general upkeep and presentation of the hotel reception area

Contributing to a positive team environment and supporting your colleagues as required

Maintain a clean and organized front desk area

Work with sales team to convert enquiries

Site walks

Catering and conferencing

Maintaining stationary and office supplies

Coordination of couriers and mail

Accurate and efficient management of information

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and helpful demeanour

Excellent time management and organisational abilities

Proficiency in using technology and hotel management systems

A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable guest experiences

Flexibility to work a range of shifts including weekends and public holidays

This role requires confidence - excellent sales and organisational skills with the ability to multi task.
