Your duties are to be responsible for the commercial, marketing, and partnership activities for the Wynnum Manly Seagulls Rugby League Football Club.

Commercial & Partnerships

Developing a long term sustainable commercial growth strategy

Achieve revenue targets via sponsorships, hospitality, fundraising and developing new revenue streams

Optimising existing revenue streams and developing new business development opportunities

Planning and negotiating partnership agreements

Manage all aspects of sponsorship and fundraising delivery

Marketing

Develop and own the overall marketing strategy and activities

Managing all marketing activities and spend across digital, print, search, social media, email marketing, partnership activation etc

Strategy / Analytics

Deliver strategic insights, advice and industry intelligence to educate potential sponsors, existing sponsors and stakeholders on the strategic opportunities

Deliver new commercial partnerships to increase revenue and sponsorship opportunities

Create and implement plans for strategic business development and sales pipeline management relative to sponsorship asset inventory

Work across stakeholders to identify and develop partnership opportunities

Understand prospects objectives and manage the development of category and agency plans

Governance, compliance & work, health & safety

Adhere to existing policies and processes to ensure adequate governance & compliance with organisation standards and regulations

Take reasonable care for the wellness, health & safety of yourself and employees’ while at work

Key Performance Indicators

10% growth in Sponsorship per annum.

70,000 digital fans (across all social channels) in 2025.
