Project Manager (Solar BESS Construction) - Renewable Energy Developer in Brisbane

Manage and direct project activities, act as liaison to all internal/external stakeholders, engineers, contractors, suppliers, third-parties, construction managers and other consultants during the execution phase of the assigned BESS project. This position will be responsible for the coordination during execution phase and close out of projects until handover. Responsible to plan and manage schedule, budget (cash flows), safety & environment, quality, and reporting.

Project Manager - Brisbane
Reporting to the Head of Operations , you will oversee large and complex BESS project (over $100 Million USD) from inception to completion, ensuring that all aspects of the project are aligned and executed smoothly while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement the project execution plan including strategy, planning, coordination, and cost control.
Ensure adherence to industry best practices and company policies, particularly focusing on health and safety.
Manage project scheduling and cost tracking, escalating issues to management as necessary.
Support project permitting, right of way processes, and construction financing documents.

Primary Requirements

1. Experience managing regulatory process with AEMO and Grid process on large scale construction project.
   
2. project delivery over $100 Million AUD + Solar or BESS Projects
   
3. Strong track record of managing project schedule and Risk reporting
   

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Energy, or a related field.
  
• Min 10 years of relevant experience in project management, engineering, or large scale solar/BESS project.
  
• Proficiency in project planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
  
• Strong experience in cost control, project scheduling, contract management, and data analysis (MS Excel).
  
• Proficient presentation skills (MS PowerPoint).
