This position is classified as a PACS Band 3 ($68,049 - $71,878 p.a) under the City of Kwinana’s structured remuneration system.
What’s On Offer
An exciting opportunity has become available for a passionate and suitably qualified individual to join our dedicated Natural Areas team at the City of Kwinana. There are two full-time positions available, reporting to the Supervisor Natural Areas and working alongside a hardworking team of like-minded professionals. The primary focus of this role is the restoration, revegetation, protection and maintenance of the City’s natural areas and urban habitat.
What You’ll Need
To be successful in this role you will need:
Considerable experience working in the natural area environment, including knowledge of weed species and native plants.
Cert III in Conservation and Land Management, or other relevant tertiary qualifications or experience.
Current First Aid Certificate and WA ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence.
Well-developed team skills.
Well-developed interpersonal and communications skills.
The ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and report on work output within program deliverables.
Please note the hours of work for this position are 7:00am - 4:00pm Monday to Thursday and 7:00am - 3:45pm Friday.
