Advertised Role: Graduate Accountant

We are seeking someone who has recently graduated with an accounting major to join our professional team on a full-time basis at our office located in the Melbourne CBD.

The successful candidate will be degree-qualified from a recognised university in Australia, with full working rights and residency in Australia.

You do not need to have prior experience, just a strong desire to pursue a career in public accounting. Our team will assist you and train you on the job. We are seeking someone who would like to pursue a career as a professionally qualified accountant.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Assisting with preparation of Income Tax Returns & Financial Statements

Assisting with Preparation & lodgement of BAS

Accounting/finance department duties

Assisting with corporate secretarial duties

There may be some client contact and liaison when required

Skills and Experience​

Strong communication skills, both written and oral

Microsoft Excel spreadsheet skills

IT literate

Good numerical skills

High attention to detail and good organisational skills
