We are currently looking for an Intermediate Accountant to join our firm - immediate start.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting and Reporting;

Compilation of Financial Statements, Tax Returns, GST and FBT obligations, and BAS/IAS lodgments;

Monthly payroll tax reporting;

Monitor monthly billings and productivity;

Bookkeeping - data entry, bank reconciliations, payroll, general ledger maintenance, and reporting;

Day to day client interaction, Virtual CFO, and assistance with cloud based software such as XERO and MYOB;

Tax planning, corporate structuring, advisory works;

Liaising with external parties including ATO, SRO, and ASIC;

Hands on role, including reviewing of files, delegation of work to Junior staff, working with a close knit team;

Assist with the day to day running of the practice, including providing general professional support to management and staff, and assisting the Director with managing client portfolios;

Work closely with clients to provide advisory and compliance services;

General support to managers and teammates.

Skills and Experience:

Have completed CPA/CA studies.

Approximately 3-5 years of experience in an Accounting firm, preferably specialising in Tax.

Experience with Xero and MYOB.

Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment.

Intermediate or above skills in Microsoft Office Suite.

Must be a permanent resident or Australian Citizen (we will not accept temporary work visas).
