About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, professional and dynamic Senior Accountant / Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. You will be engaging with our diverse client base within the SME environment offering various business services including taxation, bookkeeping, superannuation and advisory

Duties and responsibilities will include:

Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for a wide client base (including SMSFs);

Assist clients with the management of business/tax obligations and lodgement deadlines (including BAS' and IAS');

Providing tax advice;

Engaging regularly with clients and maintaining strong relationships;

Forecasting tax predictions, understanding financial landscape and market trends to identify and pre-empt potential tax exposures; and

Preparing and advising on business management reports to gain insight into financial performance of clients.

Skills and experience

Full time;

Tertiary Accounting qualifications;

CA/CPA qualified or near completion;

+5 years public practice experience;

Experience with MYOB, Xero and BGL platforms (CLASS looked favourably upon);

Manage SMSF compliance and advisory engagements;

Strong technical and communication skills (written and verbal);

Able to assist in managing graduate accountants; and

Salary range of $110,000 – $135,000. Remuneration will be commensurate with experience.
