We a currently supporting a thriving Underwriting agency as they continue their growth phase, and are looking for a new Underwriting Team Leader. The role involves leading a dynamic team and contributing to the overall success and growth of the business. This company is expanding and the team is growing across all lines, with new products on the horizon coming soon, so it is an exciting time to be on board!

This is a permanent full-time role based in Melbourne.

The Role:

• Providing a high level of underwriting service to the Broker partners
• Providing and securing more complex New Business and Renewals
• Contribute technical support and leadership to the team
• Market-facing role with expectations to be driving new business
• Support development of growing team

About you:

• 10 years' Underwriting experience preferred
• Experienced in delivering professional client experiences and enjoy working towards new business opportunities
• Ability to build and grow new and existing relationships with both internal colleagues and external business partners
• Great with building relationships and cross-selling products
• High Analytical skills & great people management capabilities
• Leadership/mentorship experience of some sort
