No roles within our Council are eligible to work from home within the first 6 months. The expectation is that you will work out of our office full time until the conclusion of the probationary period. After this time, work from home options are as per our policy.

This position is suited to a Civil Engineering who is looking to learn and develop a career within development engineering. The objectives of this role are:

• To ensure that the standard and quality of development proposals are consistent with adopted standards

and within statutory requirements.

• Provide technical advice to internal and external stakeholders in relation to development proposals

throughout the Shire, as well as playing a key role in establishing and maintaining policies related to the standards of infrastructure development.

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering with an ability to be assessed in the future for Registration in accordance with the Professional Engineers Act 2019.
