Pathfinder Recruitment are excited to bring to market a great opportunity for a Level 2.5 Engineer to join a Melbourne based managed services provider (MSP). Working across a broad client base you will be servicing start-up through to large sized corporate businesses across Melbourne. You will primarily be working with small to medium sized clients to support the delivery of projects including migrations, relocations, networking, implementations and upgrades as well as BAU support.

About you

Ideally you have 5+ years experience in technical support and at least 3 years as a Level 2 Engineer and above. You should have a strong technical understanding of IT products and services, particularly the Microsoft stack including Windows Server, Office 365, Azure Active Directory, Intune, Exchange Server and managing virtual environments. You should also have good networking experience across switches, routers and firewalls and a good understanding of VLANs and WIFI. In this role you will be working autonomously as well as part of a team. Building trust with key stakeholders and managing client relationships will be an important part of your success.

Key skills

5+ years experience in technical support, 3 years as a Level 2 Engineer and above

Previous experience working in an MSP environment

Strong understanding of IT products and services, particularly Microsoft and cloud services

Previous experience as an escalation point for Level 1 and 2

Strong systems support experience including Windows Server, Exchange, Microsoft Intune, Office 365, Azure Active Directory and managing virtual environments

Networking experience across switches, routers and firewalls

Good understanding of VLANs and WIFI and troubleshooting skills

Experience with ticketing systems

Ability to collaborate with team members and work in a fast paced environment

Experience managing internal and external stakeholders and client relationships

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Requirements

Current drivers licence and access to a vehicle

Qualifications in IT or equivalent or industry certifications
