About the Client

Our client supplies high quality surfacing solutions for a wide range of Australian road and construction projects - from local streets to highly complex infrastructure including freeways, highways and airport runways.

What you will be doing:

We are currently hiring a Manufacturing Supervisor for a permanent position based in Rockhampton.

In this role, you will oversee workshop, plant, and production staff, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and coordinating maintenance activities. While prior experience in asphalt is not required, a mechanical aptitude is essential.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading and supervising production teams

Running toolbox meetings

Meeting production targets

Managing and maintaining fixed plant equipment

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach to join a well-established team.

This is a Monday to Friday role, typically involving 8 to 10-hour shifts. However, as the plant operates 24/7, you should be prepared to occasionally receive calls after hours or on weekends as operational needs arise.

What you will need:

Current Drivers Licence

Previous experience in Fixed Plant

Mechanical Aptitude

Flexible to travel if required

Be willing to pass a pre employment medical
