Reporting directly to the Manufacturing manager, the Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for leading a workforce of 50 colleagues, in the manufacturing processes, ensuring high quality products are achieved.

Responsibilities:

Assist in delivering production schedules, ensuring quality and quantity of product is achieved.

Troubleshoot any technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.

People Leadership across the Manufacturing team to ensure performance is maximised and goals are achieved.

Assist with the implementation of efficient and effective manufacturing principles, ensuring engagement of the team through effective training and development.

Assist in delivering a manufacturing environment compliant to OH&S guidelines and ensure adherence to all legislative and compliance frameworks.

Work collaboratively with the Leadership team to drive performance outcomes and ensure organisational goals are achieved.

Deliver production timelines and outcomes that support the customer expectation.

The role of Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of 50 colleagues, and as such you will require proven people management experience within a manufacturing environment, across a variety of disciplines and skill levels. You will also have significant manufacturing experience, underpinned by a mechanical or trade knowledge, that allows for a thorough understanding of manufacturing principles and the ability to continuously improve through appropriate strategies. Whilst experience within lamination or composites is desirable, there is a high level of skill within the organisation that can assist in developing this knowledge for candidates coming from alternative manufacturing environments.
