About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Concrete Sleeper Retaining Walls Brisbane's manufacturing facility in Hemmant, Queensland. As a full-time Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our precast concrete production line, ensuring efficient and high-quality output to meet our customer demands.

What you'll be doing

Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the precast concrete manufacturing process

Monitor production schedules, identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks to maintain production targets

Provide hands-on guidance and training to production staff to improve skills and productivity

Implement and maintain safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment

Liaise with the quality assurance team to identify and address any quality control concerns

Track and report on key performance metrics to the management team

Assist with the preparation of production plans and forecasts

What we're looking for

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in the precast concrete industry

Strong knowledge of precast concrete production processes, equipment, and quality control standards

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to address production challenges

Ability to lead and motivate a team, providing guidance and training as needed

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders

Familiarity with workplace health and safety regulations
