The Courts Administration Authority (CAA) is seeking a passionate and experienced leader to take on the role of Manager, Human Resources within the People and Culture division.
About the Organisation:
The Courts Administration Authority is constituted by the Courts Administration Act 1993 (the Act). The Act established the State Courts Administration Council as an administrative authority independent of control by executive government and to confer on the Council power to provide courts with the administrative facilities and services necessary for the proper administration of justice.
Participating courts of the Authority are the Supreme Court, District Court, Environment, Resources and Development Court, Youth Court, Magistrates Court, and the Coroner's Court.
The People and Culture Division delivers strategic and operational HR services aligned with the strategic and business objectives of the CAA. It provides governance for all legislation and policy pertaining to employment of public officers.
The Division provides solutions relating to organisational development; learning and development; HR advisory and consultancy; employee and industrial relations management; workplace health and safety, injury management and rehabilitation services, and payroll services.
The Manager, Human Resources contributes to leadership and decision-making across the CAA in the development and delivery of a range of contemporary HR strategies and solutions which are responsible to the needs and requirements of the CAA.
This position leads the Human Resources’ business partnership and consultancy services, management of injury management and workers compensation matters, and the CAA’s stand-alone Payroll services.

Special Conditions:
This is a backfill opportunity until 31 July 2026.
Appointment is under the Courts Administration Act 1993. Terms and Conditions of employment are governed by the Public Sector Act 2009.
Appointment is dependent upon a current National Police Certificate that the CAA finds satisfactory.
As a justice agency, the CAA may receive details of spent convictions as part of any Criminal History Screening and use this information in the selection process.
Remuneration: MAS3 ($127,859 pa plus 12% superannuation)
