Southern Adelaide Local Health Network (SALHN) is thrilled to offer an exciting NEW opportunity for a Nurse Unit Manager to lead the BRAND NEW Acute Geriatric Ward at Noarlunga Hospital!

About the role:

  • Collaborate with highly trained multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and streamline care processes
  • Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the delivery of high-quality care
  • Oversee recruitment, rostering, work allocation, and attendance within the ward, ensuring resources align with operational needs
  • Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and workload distribution to ensure optimal service delivery
  • Represent the unit at meetings and committees, advocating for the needs and interests of patients and staff
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the nursing team

About you:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and implement innovative solutions
  • Demonstrated clinical leadership ability to develop, lead and manage a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
  • Genuine passion for delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the growth of your team members
  • Registered Nurse with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience
