About the Role

An opportunity has become available for a commercially savvy and detail-focused Procurement Officer to join the expanding operations team. Based at the head office in Epping, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the complete procurement lifecycle across construction, operational, and corporate departments. This role suits someone with a strong background in construction procurement who thrives in a high-paced environment and is committed to driving efficiency, cost control, and supplier performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a centralised supplier and subcontractor register, categorising by trade, pricing, quality, performance, and capacity.
• Continuously assess current partners and identify new trade relationships to meet operational and project demands
• Develop and implement procurement procedures and service level agreements (SLAs) for contractor engagement.
• Ensure all processes are well-documented and maintained within a digital procurement management system.

Financial Planning & Strategic Procurement

• Work alongside senior leadership to identify procurement savings and support financial goals.
• Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and quarterly reporting to drive cost-effective procurement outcomes.

Performance & Continuous Improvement

• Lead quarterly contractor reviews and implement improvement strategies for both internal processes and external partnerships.
• Track and report on procurement metrics to inform executive decision-making.

Product Strategy & Pricing

• Support product review processes by benchmarking against industry offerings and maintaining up-to-date pricing records.
• Contribute to value-driven decisions that enhance client satisfaction and project profitability.

Operational Procurement

• Oversee procurement of business services and assets such as IT systems, mobile technology, and fleet vehicles.
• Streamline corporate procurement operations and negotiate improved service and pricing terms.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers.
• Negotiate agreements that ensure favourable terms, consistent supply, and service excellence.
