We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Officer to join our HR Administration team on a 12-month full-time contract. This is an opportunity to contribute to a critical community service by delivering high-quality, timely, and customer-focused HR support in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
About the Role
As a Human Resources Officer, you’ll be part of a supportive team delivering timely, accurate, and customer-focused HR services. The role includes responding to queries from employees and leaders about a range of HR matters such as leave, entitlements, HR policies, and payroll, preparing employment contracts, processing employment condition changes, and updating / maintaining various HR databases.
You’ll also educate leaders and employees on HR processes and systems, work closely with Shared Services payroll, and escalate more complex matters to other HR teams as needed — all while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
About You
You will bring:
A strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Experience in HR administration, including preparing contracts, maintaining HR data, and responding to queries about entitlements, leave, and HR policies.
Superior organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage a heavy workload and prioritise effectively.
The ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including confidence handling queries both via email and over the phone.
