THE ROLE
YMCA SA is looking for an OSHC Regional Manager to join our team on a full-time basis, on a 15-18 month fixed-term contract.
As OSHC Regional Manager, reporting to Head of Children’s Services, you will:
Provide leadership to ensure quality care, recreation and leisure programs for children, and direction, support, and continuous learning for staff according to the National Quality Standards
Build the YMCA of South Australia’s reputation as a quality provider of OSHC services
Provide first level support to directors, including reviewing reports, Vacation Care programs, and timely response to questions
Support a culture of continuous learning in the workplace (including own workplace learning)
Attend Advisory Committee and School Leadership meetings as required
In conjunction with the Head of Children’s Services; prepare, monitor and review the service’s annual budget and fee structure

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Successful candidates will also have, or be willing to obtain:
Tertiary qualification in Children’s Services (relevant field)
Certificate of completion for “Responding to Risk of Harm, Abuse and Neglect” (RRHAN -EC) training
HLTAID012 Current Provide Emergency First Aid in an Education and Care Setting
HLTAID009 Provide CPR
Strong leadership experience to staff including training, quality improvement, support, and maintaining the standards of the service
