The role
The primary purpose of this role is to support members and assist worker members with balance transfers (rollovers) to Incolink.
Responsibilities
Actively manage the ongoing positive relationships with workers and employers by:
Conducting site visits to inform workers and employers of the benefits of Incolink over industry competitors and disseminating/distributing relevant information to Incolink members, the industry and the construction community about insurance and other benefits.
Liaising with internal staff to ensure provision of information and options, including referral of Incolink members to counsellors or support as appropriate.
Referring to, and having knowledge of, the relevant industrial instruments (Awards and Agreements) to guide action taken required to assist Incolink members.
Support onsite Incolink services and programs such as health checks.
Engage with and support members to complete balance rollovers.
Contribute to the design and development of interstate specific promotional collateral.
Ensure industry connection and the maintenance of professional networking skills by attending relevant meetings, network at functions and/or conferences as required.
Communications with Employer members to ensure financial compliance.
Agree to performance objectives annually.
Skills / Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
Good working knowledge of the South Australian and Tasmanian commercial building and construction industry.
Industrial relations knowledge and/or experience.
Ability to effectively communicate with employers, workers, unions & employer associations.
Ability to travel interstate.
Ability to work autonomously and be a self-starter.
Good presentation and public speaking skills.
Ability to arrange, conduct and evaluate promotional activities.
Experience in communicating and liaising with management at all levels.
Appropriate experience in the use of databases, power point and promotional tools.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Licence to drive a motor vehicle.
