Rudy’s Grill is opening soon in Bondi Beach and we’re assembling a sharp kitchen team. We'll be grilling steaks and seafood on a lava-rock grill. As Sous Chef, you’ll be the right hand to our Exec Chef – leading service, mentoring the team, and shaping a brand-new menu and culture.

Responsibilities:

Lead service with calm, precise execution

Supervise mise en place, prep flow, and station organisation

Maintain food quality, hygiene, and consistency under pressure

Mentor junior chefs and support recruitment/training

Contribute to menu specials and development

What you bring:

3+ years experience in a Sous or Senior CDP role

Strong grasp of technique – grill, sauces, plating, pacing

Natural leader and cool-headed problem solver

Team player who brings energy, respect, and reliability

Eligible to work in Australia (sponsorship available for right person)
