About the role

This role is based at our clients' brewery in Fortitude Valley. Operating Wednesday to Sunday, we deliver brewpub style fare to compliment the range of freshly brewed beers on offer.

We are seeking a fulltime chef to work Wednesday-Saturday as part of our onsite service delivery team serving a small brewpub style menu as well as functions.

Current Shifts:

Wednesday: 11:30am-8:45pm

Thursday: 11:30am-8:45pm

Friday: 11:30am-9:15pm

Saturday: 11:30am-9:15pm

Qualifications & experience

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery

2+ years' experience in a brewpub, casual restaurant or similar.

Driver's license (preferred but not mandatory).

Driven to perform at the highest level.

Excellent attention to detail.

Time management, communication & planning skills.

Tasks & responsibilities

Work autonomously or with one-two chefs.

Prepare menu items as per recipes, kitchen standards and food safety requirements.

Prepare dishes in a time efficient manner to a high standard in a fast-paced, short order environment.

Complete & record food safety processes to company standards and maintain the service facilities in a clean and sanitary state.

Liaise with the production kitchen to ensure stock levels are adequately maintained depending on demand.

Communicate effectively in a friendly manner with customers, onsite team members and the production kitchen.

Ensure menu items align with brand guidelines.
