Your new role
This multifaceted position involves managing the front-of-house reception area, maintaining office systems, supporting the Development Director, and contributing to marketing and sales activities. The role plays a key part in promoting a professional and welcoming office culture while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Answering and directing phone enquiries, managing reception emails, incoming/outgoing mail, and courier bookings.
- Providing reception duties with warmth and professionalism, including greeting visitors and managing meeting refreshments.
- Supporting the Development Director with diary management, secretarial tasks, and meeting coordination.
- Handling data entry, invoice processing, credit card reconciliations, document filing, and supply procurement.
- Coordinating onboarding packs and maintaining accurate corporate registers and admin manuals.
- Keeping meeting rooms, common areas, and kitchen clean and organised.
- Managing office systems, including IT coordination, document record-keeping, and team conference setups.
- Organising office social events such as morning teas, quarterly activities, and end-of-year celebrations.
- Acting as the office fire warden (training provided).
What you'll need to succeed

- A diploma in Business Administration (preferred) and similar experience in a corporate reception / administrative support role.
- Exposure to a corporate or property/construction environment will be highly regarded.
- Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal.
- Strong organisational ability and the capacity to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and InDesign, with the agility to pick up new systems quickly.
- A proactive, friendly and dependable nature with strong relationship-building skills.
- A polished and professional approach to front-of-house and internal support functions.
- High levels of initiative, accuracy, and an eagerness to contribute to a positive office environment.
