About the role

We are looking for a motivated law graduate or junior solicitor to join our small dynamic legal team. This is a full time role and salary will be negotiated based on experience.

What you'll be doing

Working directly with our principal on a wide range of matters focussing on commercial litigation;

Drafting and formatting various legal documents, such as letters, contracts and Court documents;

Conducting legal research and gathering information to support the work of our principal and senior solicitors;

Managing conveyancing files from start to finish (with assistance from our solicitors) while our conveyancing law graduate is on maternity leave;

Providing exceptional customer service to our clients; and

Providing a wide range of support to our principal and senior solicitors where necessary, including answering phones, dictating, billing and file management.

What we're looking for

A pre-admission law graduate or a junior level solicitor (up to 3 years post admission experience);

A genuine interest in commercial litigation, property law and contracts;

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and solicitors;

Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality work;

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure;

A willingness to adapt, learn and develop legal skills;

Prior legal experience is not essential but will be highly regarded; and

Experience with Leap and PEXA is not essential but will be highly regarded.
