About the Role

The Third-Party Risk Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing the risks associated with the organisation's third-party relationships. This role involves identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that arise from partnerships with vendors, suppliers, and other external entities.

The core function of the role will be to manage Bapcor’s third party risk management process to mitigate risks across financial, anti-bribery, corruption, cyber & data security and Modern Slavery programs by working with internal stakeholders to build relationships with Bapcor’s vendors, suppliers and other external entities.

Key responsibilities include:

Execute a third-party risk management process to mitigate risks (financial, privacy, anti-bribery and corruption, reputational, cyber & data security, etc.) from third parties in business dealings with Bapcor.

Support the business / contract owners in corrective action planning from third party risks identified.

Support the development of a robust supplier onboarding program.

Execute a program and review for current suppliers in completing third party risk program.

Support the risk assessment and corrective action planning for the Modern Slavery Program, focusing on high-risk own brand suppliers manufacturing overseas.

Support the development of ongoing process and governance improvements for procurement activity including policy and procedure updates.

Support the Contract & Compliance Manager on key projects as requested / required.

About You :

Bachelor’s degree in risk management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Proven experience in risk management, preferably in a third-party risk role.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to third-party risk or experience in a similar role preferred.
