About the role

Join ACSP as our GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) Audit Manager, based at our Bundoora, Victoria head office. This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for strengthening compliance and risk across the in-home aged care sector. You’ll work closely with our executive team to design, implement, and oversee robust governance frameworks, ensuring our clients meet all regulatory obligations under the Aged Care Act 2024 and associated quality standards.

What you’ll be doing

Lead the design and implementation of governance, risk, and compliance frameworks for in-home aged care providers.

Advise the Board and Executive Team on best practice governance and compliance standards.

Develop annual internal audit plans and conduct independent audits across all business areas.

Identify, assess, and monitor risks ensuring mitigation strategies and business continuity plans are in place.

Oversee regulatory assurance, including legislative registers, policy development, and audit preparation.

Act as the primary liaison with the Aged Care Quality & Safety Commission and lead organisational readiness for reviews.

Prepare detailed audit reports, track corrective actions, and support continuous quality improvement.

Mentor staff, deliver governance and compliance training, and drive a culture of transparency and accountability.

Support incident and complaints management frameworks, and ensure timely SIRS and compliance reporting.

Contribute to workforce compliance, onboarding, and adherence to Code of Conduct standards.

Deliver monthly compliance and audit reports for executive and Board review.

What we’re looking for

Tertiary qualification in Law, Governance, Health Management, Risk, Compliance, or related field.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in compliance, audit, or risk management within aged care, health, or community services.

In-depth understanding of the Aged Care Act 2024, Aged Care Quality Standards, and provider obligations.

Proven track record in leading audits and implementing compliance frameworks.

Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with executive leadership.

[Desirable] Postgraduate qualification or professional certification in Governance, Internal Audit, or Risk Management (e.g., CIA, CISA).

[Desirable] Experience consulting for or working with in home aged care providers.
