We’re recruiting on behalf of a banking client, seeking a Senior Analyst – Risk & Controls to support the uplift of operational risk frameworks, enhance control effectiveness, and drive stronger regulatory alignment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Support the delivery of divisional risk priorities across the complaints ecosystem by assessing controls, tracking issues, and uplifting governance practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to ensure risks, controls, and obligations are effectively managed and embedded.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of sustainable, well-managed operational processes and treatment plans.
• Monitor and enhance the risk and control environment, identifying gaps and delivering remediation where needed.
• Provide governance guidance to internal teams and help embed a culture of compliance and risk awareness.
• Deliver reporting and insights to support leadership decision-making and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Assist with control attestations, vendor oversight, and asset governance initiatives.
• Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of governance frameworks across the complaints management lifecycle.

What You’ll Bring:

• Solid experience in operational risk, governance, or compliance – ideally within a customer resolution, complaints, or regulated service environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risk, identify gaps, and design effective solutions.
• Confident communicator with experience preparing management reports and influencing across multiple levels.
• A structured thinker who thrives in complex environments and brings strong attention to detail.
• Resilient and proactive – someone who takes initiative and doesn’t wait to be told what needs doing.
• A collaborative team player with a strong sense of ownership and a passion for doing things the right way.
