Introduction:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Credit Analyst for a large commercial organisation in the telecommunication sector to assess the creditworthiness of clients by analysing financial data, credit reports, and trends. You'll recommend credit limits, monitor accounts, and ensure compliance with internal policies. Strong communication skills are essential for collaboration with sales, finance, and leadership. The ideal candidate has solid financial acumen, a proactive risk approach, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Help drive sustainable growth through effective credit risk management.

You will report to the Credit Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse credit data, financial statements, and payment history to evaluate the creditworthiness of current and prospective clients.
• Prepare detailed credit reports and recommendations based on financial and risk analysis.
• Monitor existing credit accounts to detect changes in credit standing, identifying high-risk accounts.
• Collaborate with sales and finance teams to set credit limits, terms, and conditions.
• Assist in the development of credit scoring models and risk assessment tools.
• Participate in the review and enhancement of credit policies and procedures.
• Stay current on industry trends, economic conditions, and relevant regulations impacting credit practices.
• Communicate credit decisions effectively to internal stakeholders and occasionally to clients.

Requirements:

• 5+ years in the Accounting and Credit domain
• Proficiency in ERP software and MS Excel, Tableau OR Power-Bi
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Cert IV in Accounting) would be an advantage.
• Studying towards CA/ CPA
