The role:
Youth Futures is seeking an aspiring, full time Human Resources Officer to join our HR team.
Join a passionate, fun, and supportive team that is dedicated to making real change by providing accurate and timely human resources support to managers and employees.
Key responsibilities:
Support the HR Manager on various HR matters, including end-to-end recruitment for various roles across the organisation, employee engagement, remuneration and benefits, Award interpretation, and performance.
Produce and maintain Job Descriptions, Policies and Procedures
Prepare and extend job offers, negotiate terms, and ensure contracts and employee records are accurate and up to date.
Facilitate employee onboarding / offboarding and orientation of all new employees, students, and volunteers.
Provide support and guidance to leaders and employees on general HR matters, recruitment, workforce planning, performance management, and more.
Assist with general administrative tasks to support the HR team.
We are looking for someone who has:
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources
Minimum 2 - 3 years post qualification experience
Experience with Employment Hero
Strong organisation and administration skills
Good working knowledge of Awards and industrial legislation
Demonstrated ability to use initiative and maintain a high degree of confidentiality when dealing with employee matters
The capacity to deliver high quality and accurate documentation and meet moving deadlines
Strong skills in MS Office - SharePoint, Word, Excel & Outlook
Strong verbal and written communication skills
A high level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
Work Conditions:
Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm
Joondalup location near accessible parking and public transport

The salary for this position depending on qualifications and experience is $70,000 to $85,000 per annum, plus Superannuation.
In addition to your remuneration, you will enjoy generous salary packaging benefits where you can package up to $15,900 for general living expenses and an additional $2,650 for entertainment benefits per annum.
