Are you a people-focused HR leader ready to make a real impact?
We’re looking for a confident, compassionate and proactive Human Resources Lead to guide our HR Operations team and champion an exceptional employee experience across Ability WA.
About the role
Reporting to the General Manager Human Resources, you’ll deliver values-driven HR services that support our people, leaders and long-term strategy.
In this role you will:
- Lead, inspire and develop a high-performing HR Operations and Recruitment team
- Deliver HR strategies aligned to business growth and operational objectives
- Support transformation and innovation across the full employee lifecycle
- Reimagine ways of working using digital tools and platforms
- Partner with leaders on workforce planning, talent acquisition and reporting
- Drive process and system improvements through HR projects
- Oversee contracts and compliance
- Deliver actionable insights through HR reporting and data analysis
Essential Skills & Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you’ll be a hands-on HR generalist/ Business Partner with a passion for people and strong operational expertise. You’re a natural communicator, critical thinker and trusted advisor who enjoys supporting leaders and shaping a healthy work place culture.
You’ll also bring:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a HR generalist or Business Partner in a medium to large, multidisciplinary organisation
- Strong understanding of contemporary HR practices, employment legislation, and workforce planning.
- Capability in managing change and competing priorities in a complex systems environment.
- Hands-on, proactive approach and confident working at all levels of the organisation
- Excellent interpersonal skills, leadership capability and detail-orientated approach
- A degree in HR or a related field (or relevant experience) is desirable
- Right to work in Australia
- National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
- Driver’s Licence
- NDIS Workers Orientation Module
- NDIS Worker Screening check
- COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
