THE ROLE
As a Business Development Manager, you'll be out in the field, identifying and securing new business while nurturing key existing accounts. This role is a mix of solution selling and hands-on support – you're not just selling products, you're solving real problems for your customers.
You'll be focused on:
Driving new business growth in your territory.
Building strong relationships with clients.
Understanding needs and recommending the right solutions.
Collaborating internally to deliver on promises.
Tracking activity, pipeline, and performance.
ABOUT YOU
You're a natural relationship builder who thrives in a sales environment. You're proactive, solutions-focused, and love getting out to meet customers.
You'll bring:
Proven BDM or similar sales experience.
Experience selling into trade, industrial, or manufacturing sectors (e.g., industrial consumables, tools, safety, MRO).
Ability to manage the full sales cycle.
A self-starter attitude and hunger to grow your patch.
Great communication skills and a genuine interest in helping people.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
Our client believes in rewarding high performance:
BASE $80,000 - $100,000 | Super 12% | Car/Car Allowance | Commissions
