The Role

You will work closely with the accounting team and act as the primary liaison with clients. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the administration of the firm’s workflow system
• Performing all administrative functions related to accounting tasks, allowing accountants to focus on delivering exceptional service to clients
• Liaising with clients to gather required information in a timely manner
• Following up with clients to resolve accountants’ queries quickly and ensure prompt turnaround
• Providing excellent customer service over the phone
• Lodging tax returns via the ATO portal
• Maintaining the client relationship management (CRM) and electronic document management systems

Requirements:

• Proven office management skills
• Previous experience in an accounting firm (essential)
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Professional presentation and excellent relationship-building skills
• Friendly, adaptable, and team-oriented personality
• Working knowledge of MYOB AE
