As part of our next growth phase, we’re seeking a smart, capable, and commercially savvy Digital Marketing Manager (Publishing) to lead our media-facing marketing operations and drive digital campaign performance across branded content, audience growth, and partnerships.
The Position
Own and implement the marketing strategy for Starts at 60 and its related brands, while managing campaign delivery for our advertising partners. You’ll work at the intersection of content, audience, and commercial outcomes amplifying storytelling that resonates deeply with our unique demographic.
Responsibilities
Audience Growth & Website Performance
Develop and implement and monitor SEO/SEM strategies to grow organic and paid reach.
Work with editorial to align content strategy with keyword trends and audience interests.
Monitor traffic, bounce rates, CTR, and conversion pathways to optimise outcomes.
Newsletter & Social Channel Marketing
Manage daily newsletter operations (EDM strategy, segmentation, CTOR optimisation).
Optimise Facebook page and groups with content and audience strategies that engage and convert.
Coordinate creative planning across organic and paid social.
Branded Content & Campaign Execution
Liaise directly with sales and editorial teams to scope and deliver media campaigns.
Manage the delivery of paid content including advertorials, sponsored videos, and newsletters.
Oversee asset trafficking and scheduling for digital display and EDM campaigns.
Product Development & Media Innovation
Contribute to the evolution of our media product suite.
Help shape future campaign packages, e.g. masterclasses, native series, video executions.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work cross-functionally with the Editorial, Travel & Services Marketing, and Sales Lead.
Support the CEO with campaign performance insights, data dashboards, and client reporting.
What You'll Bring
5+ years’ experience in digital marketing (publisher or content-led business preferred)
Experience with SEO/SEM (Google), and audience analytics (GA4, Meta Business Suite)
Proven ability to manage branded content campaigns and multiple stakeholders
A results-oriented mindset, able to execute within a lean and agile team
Great writing and communication skills, and a keen sense of commercial tone and message
An understanding of media trading metrics (CPM, CTR, dwell time)
Nice to Have
Familiarity with programmatic advertising principles and platforms
Experience and knowledge of AI performance tools
Video and live-stream content marketing experience
