About the role

BKFY Pty Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts / Bookkeeper to join our team in Gosford, NSW. As a full-time employee, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company's accounting functions.

What you'll be doing

Performing a range of bookkeeping duties including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance

Preparing and processing payroll, including the calculation of leave entitlements and tax obligations

Ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner

Generating financial reports and statements to support management decision-making

Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts

Providing support to the finance team and other departments as needed

What we're looking for

Relevant experience in a bookkeeping or accounts payable/receivable role, preferably within a small business or accounting firm

Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate financial records

Proficiency in using accounting software such as MYOB

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently

Relevant qualifications in Accounting or a related field would be highly regarded

Experience with trust accounts would be an advantage

Experience with Strata / Real Estate software would be an advantage
