About This Expanding Local Firm
Having been established in Newcastle/Lake Macquarie/Hunter for several years, this boutique firm pride themselves on delivering quality services to their clients whilst always seeking better ways of achieving this. Their successes over the years has been based on three key principles:

Looking to combine their internal administration needs with their expanding Bookkeeping services, the firm is eager to attract an experienced Bookkeeper that can also lead their small administration team.
About This New Role
Consistent with the partnership’s principles, you will take the lead for ensuring all the current internal processes and procedures are up to date as well as establishing the framework for anything you feel is lacking internally. There are a few new projects scheduled over the next 12 months and you will be at the “forefront” as they evolve.
With their Bookkeeping Services also expanding, you will also be required to take on traditional bookkeeping duties for several of the firms’ key clients. This will take up approximately 2.5 days per week. It will be mandatory that you possesses previous bookkeeping experience using XERO.
Like most partnerships, the drive for improvement in internal performance (both financial and process) can never be devalued. Your contribution will be key to assisting them with their current challenges and future direction. While many of the responsibilities attributed to this role will require you to demonstrate a high degree of leadership, it should also be noted that in some areas of the organisation, you will be required to provide support and influence rather than direct management.
Note that this is a full-time role. Monday to Friday. 8.30am to 5.00pm. The role is also office based.
About You
Key attributes that will assist you in being successful in this key appointment include initiative, attention to detail, work ethic, influence and passion. An enjoyment of regular team morning teas is also important!!!
As stipulated earlier, previous bookkeeping experience is a must. Preference will be given to candidates that have worked on multiple businesses at one time.
Remuneration & How To Apply
An attractive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicant. As a guide only, a base salary in the range of $85,000 to $100,000 could be expected along with statutory superannuation.
