Sales Representative – Community-Focused Media

We're The Sentinel, a local newspaper with deep roots in the community — and we’re looking for a smart, personable sales rep who loves connecting with local businesses and helping them grow.

This isn’t a high-pressure telesales job. It’s about building genuine relationships, understanding what makes our community tick, and delivering real value to small businesses through effective advertising across print and digital.

What you’ll be doing:

Meeting with local business owners and operators face-to-face

Selling advertising space across our print newspaper, social platforms and website

Managing client relationships with care, consistency and professionalism

Writing up briefs, booking ads and working with the production team to deliver results

Hitting monthly targets and being rewarded for your success
