Position: Operations Manager – Early Childhood Education
Location: Brisbane, QLD (Regular travel to centres required)
Employment Type: Full-Time/ Part Time role available

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to join our passionate and growing Early Childhood Education team. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to quality outcomes for children, families, and educators.

About the Role

As an Operations Manager, you will work closely with Centre Directors across multiple locations, providing strategic support and operational oversight to ensure our services consistently exceed expectations under the National Quality Framework. You will build positive relationships with staff, children, families, and external stakeholders, playing an integral part in maintaining high standards of care and education.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with geographically dispersed Centre Directors to implement consistent systems and operational processes.

Provide ongoing mentoring and support to centre leadership teams to strengthen their understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and promote innovative and engaging programs.

Ensure compliance with company policies, legislative requirements, and the National Quality Framework.

Oversee and guide centre budgeting and financial performance.

Foster open and supportive communication across teams and with families.

Identify and facilitate professional development opportunities across all services.

Support internal and external reporting requirements with accuracy and timeliness.

Build and maintain strong partnerships with external agencies and community networks.

About You

We’re looking for a confident and experienced leader with strong operational knowledge and a passion for early childhood education.

You will have:

A Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).

Proven experience as an Operations Manager (or similar multi-site leadership role) overseeing multiple early childhood services.

A strong working knowledge of the EYLF, NQF, and relevant legislation.

The ability to travel regularly within Brisbane and occasionally interstate.

Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications.

Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

The ability to inspire, mentor and lead diverse teams.

High-level organisational and time-management abilities.

A strong commitment to integrity, professionalism, and best practice in early childhood education.
