About the Company

Our client is a well-established international bank specialising in Corporate and Institutional Banking. With a growing footprint in the Australian market, their Sydney branch is expanding and seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to help drive business growth and client satisfaction.

The Role

As a Relationship Manager, you’ll manage a portfolio of corporate and institutional clients (both domestic and international), focusing on credit origination, client engagement, and risk management. You’ll work closely with internal credit and compliance teams while contributing to the bank’s business development goals.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate and institutional clients.

Originate new lending opportunities and restructure existing credit facilities as needed.

Conduct financial and credit analysis in line with internal credit policies.

Perform preliminary KYC checks and ensure compliance with AML/CTF and regulatory requirements.

Maintain strong post-settlement relationships and monitor client financial health.

Research industry and market trends, identifying new opportunities.

Attend industry events and support the bank’s brand visibility and client network.

Provide regular portfolio reporting and insights to senior management.

About You

Minimum 3 years' experience in Relationship Management or Credit Analysis, ideally within financial services or banking.

Strong understanding of lending products, credit structuring, and financial analysis.

Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (APRA, AUSTRAC, ASIC, AFCA, ACCC).

Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written) – Essential
