Business Development Manager
Full Time. Member based Industry Association, Trusted Brand, Work from Home. Drive growth, develop relationships and deliver results. Contract role with a view to permanency.
Auscontact is the peak industry association for Contact Centres in Australia. Supporting customer-driven environments, we help organisations deliver service and sales excellence. We support growth across all verticals, providing access to best practice and industry experts, building capability, and challenging our member base to innovate and change in line with the changing needs of their customers.

What will you do?
Undertake lead development and prospecting activities
Proactively promote the association through a range of channels, including phone and online
Build strong networks with a variety of stakeholders through regular engagement
Develop strategies that support growth and maintain a healthy pipeline
Secure new memberships, retain existing relationships and contribute through supporting the organisation’s growth.
Deliver reporting as required and maintain accurate records
Provide advice and feedback on member interactions and market intelligence to enhance our service offering
Collaborate with a small team to achieve the best outcomes for our members

A base salary of $100,000, neg based on experience.

What you bring to the role:
A successful track record in business development and account management
You love the thrill of the chase and balance this with a genuine commitment to building trusted relationships
Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders
You balance high levels of self-motivation and results orientation with collaboration and teamwork
A passion for service excellence, commitment to performance and the willingness to receive and provide constructive feedback
You are prepared to travel to engage with members as required while being comfortable working autonomously in a remote team environment.
Knowledge of Contact Centres, Customer Experience and Service Delivery environments is a distinct benefit but not essential
