Workforce Health Assessors (WHA) is a leading provider of occupational workplace health assessments, delivering critical clinical services to many of Australia's leading/premier companies and industries.

About the role

We are excited to offer a critical sales position for an experienced and results-oriented Business Development Manager, who will be accountable and have responsibility for driving business growth in NSW and ACT as part of expanding WHA operations.

The successful candidate will be at the forefront of leading the group's strategic sales initiatives, identifying and driving new business opportunities.

The successful applicant will be a seasoned business development leader with a hunter mentality, commercially astute with the ability to maximise opportunities, present effective solutions, and deliver exceptional growth results, having had extensive experience in a B2B sales environment.

This is more than a sales role - it's an opportunity to make your mark inside a high-performing, values-driven organisation with a real-world health impact.

This position is a work-from-home role whilst operating collaboratively with the local NSW WHA team and the dynamic national WHA structure.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Develop and implement both short-term and long-term sales plans, ensuring successful execution across the NSW and ACT market.

Work in partnership with the National Sales Leadership, state-based Business Development leader and Key Account Management to drive strong, sustainable growth across the WHA Group.

Lead by example - actively prospecting, initiating, and converting new business opportunities through through strong market insight, competitive analysis, and relentless pursuit of growth.

Consistently identify and target high value opportunities, fostering strategic relationships, and driving pipeline velocity.

Propel the sales team to actively engage in business development by creating, sourcing and pursuing new sales opportunities proactively through a deep understanding of the market opportunities.

Collaborate with the Executive Team to shape WHA’s growth ambitions, sales priorities and initiatives.

Assess the effectiveness of current sales initiatives, programs, and resources, and contribute to improvements.

Work in collaboration with the company's marketing resources to develop a tactical and comprehensive tactical marketing strategy to enhance brand visibility, generate high quality leads and convert opportunities into revenue.

Experience, skills & qualifications

Proven experience in a leading sales role, with a track record of success in developing and implementing growth strategies.

Demonstrated experience in the sales of professional services in a B2B environment. A sales background in a health-related field would be desirable.

Proven experience in achieving or exceeding growth targets.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to analyse sales performance metrics to inform data driven decisions, it would be desirable to have strong experience using a contempary CRM such as HubSpot..

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Self-motivated and adaptable, with the discipline to manage a remote working environment.
