About the role

The role pro-actively partners with HSE Leads, line managers and employees across a diverse range of Utilities, Dewatering, Plant and Equipment in field, depots, workshop/s and corporate office to support organisational capability, business compliance and Management of Change processes.

Your responsibilities:

Develop a business improvement plan for key business improvement opportunities.

Continuously analyse business processes through gap analysis to identify opportunities for process and performance improvements.

Facilitate stakeholder engagement activities in relation to lessons learnt, innovation and improvement opportunities, and implement via change management processes and communication.

Establish the subcontractor auditing program.

Monitor, maintain and report on contractor and subcontractor safety and compliance.

Maintain the Legal and Other Obligations Register, communicating any legislative and compliance changes and required actions to the business.

Review and coordinate the corporate risk management program inclusive of Business Continuity Plan reviews.

Identify non-compliance in system and send findings to management to ensure that corrective actions have taken place in a timely manner.

Gather, organise and analyses information on problems or procedures.

Coordination and preparation of the external certification process including provision of communication and actions to the business in readiness.

Oversee the overall audit findings and lodgement of OFIs, improvements etc against relevant departments and responsible people.

Provide internal auditing services to ensure that the business is able to meet its auditing requirements in line with ISO certifications.

Manage the implementation of the Quality Management Plan.

Lead the development and maintenance of a business innovation program.

Embed the Integrated Management System (IMS) into the business.

Develop, update and reconcile the IMS manual and IMS Standards.

Coordinate IMS standard Audits for certification auditing.

Support, drive and maintain compliance for the Sustainability Goals for the business.

Drive a positive culture of quality reporting throughout the business.

Drive the compliance and effective integration of acquired entities.

Your qualifications:

Tertiary qualification in OHS, Risk Management or equivalent

Certificate IV in WHS, Training & Assessment

Internal Auditor qualifications highly regarded

Current First Aid accreditation

Construction Safety Induction (White Card)
