The Role:

We are seeking passionate and skilled Tandoori Chef to join our vibrant team. As a Chef at An Indian Affair, you will play a crucial role in preparing and delivering our signature Indian dishes, ensuring consistency and quality in every meal.

Your role will involve collaborating closely with other kitchen staff, contributing to menu planning, and maintaining high standards of kitchen cleanliness and food safety.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience: At least 4 years of experience in a commercial kitchen environment, with a focus on Indian cuisine.

Qualifications: Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.

Skills & Knowledge:

Strong experience in preparing, cooking, and presenting Indian dishes.

Knowledge of kitchen operations, including inventory control and stock management.

Excellent knife skills and ability to work under pressure.

Passion for food and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety in the kitchen.

Ability to contribute creatively to menu planning and specials.

Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen, maintaining a calm and organized approach.

Compliance: You must comply with all Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and food safety regulations.
