About the role

Bread and Butter Catering, a leading catering company in Canberra & Wallaroo NSW 2618, is seeking an experienced Chef De Partie to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. As a Chef De Partie, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the exceptional culinary standards that have made Bread and Butter Catering a trusted name in the Hospitality & Tourism industry.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and cooking a variety of delicious dishes to the highest standards, following recipes and presentation guidelines

Ensuring efficient and effective kitchen operations, including stock control, preparation, and food safety

Collaborating with the Head Chef and other chefs to develop new menu items and enhance existing ones

Mentoring and training junior kitchen staff to uphold Bread and Butter Catering's culinary excellence

Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations

Assisting with catering events and functions as required

What we're looking for

At least 3 years of experience as a Chef De Partie or in a similar role within the Hospitality & Tourism industry

Formal culinary training or qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery

Exceptional culinary skills, with a strong understanding of various cooking techniques and the ability to prepare a wide range of dishes

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high food safety and quality standards

Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
