We are a Premium E-commerce Performance agency who partners with e-commerce brands that are on a mission to grow and scale their businesses. Building long term relationships with our clients is our main goal, we do this through talking top line digital strategy, rolling out Facebook best practice ad strategies that will consistently bring brands new customers and ensuring the client is updated with all new learnings from across our whole book of business/verticals.
Based on the Sunshine Coast, we work closely alongside Facebook, Google & TikTok teams based out of Singapore and Sydney.
Position Summary
The Paid Media Buyer is responsible for the planning, execution, optimisation, and reporting of paid advertising campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and other digital platforms. This role plays a key part in achieving performance outcomes for our e-commerce and fashion clients by managing budgets, refining targeting strategies, and continually improving campaign effectiveness.
Working closely with the wider Growth Huntr team, the Paid Media Buyer will contribute to the agency’s high-performance culture by proactively managing accounts, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering campaign results that move the needle.
Key Responsibilities
1. Campaign Execution & Optimisation
Build and launch high-performance Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok ad campaigns.
Conduct daily checks on live campaigns and implement optimisations based on performance data.
Troubleshoot issues promptly to ensure campaigns run smoothly and meet objectives.
Regularly report on performance using key metrics such as ROAS, MER, and NCAC.
2. Strategy & Targeting
Conduct audience research and create tailored targeting strategies aligned to client goals.
Develop and iterate on funnel-based digital marketing strategies, including consideration of landing pages and creative performance.
Proactively identify opportunities for improvement within each account.
3. Communication & Collaboration
Work closely with Client Partners and other departments to deliver cohesive campaign strategies.
Communicate daily with the Growth Huntr team via Slack and Monday.
Participate in team meetings, campaign planning sessions, and reporting presentations.
4. Platform Awareness & Innovation
Stay up to date on changes to Meta, TikTok, and other platforms (e.g. Snapchat, Google Ads, Pinterest).
Remain informed of social media creative and strategic best practices, especially within ecommerce and fashion.
Share platform insights and recommendations with the wider team.
Skills & Experience
Minimum 2+ years of experience managing Meta ad campaigns and using Shopify analytics.
Previous experience in a client-facing role with the ability to integrate well with internal and client teams.
Confident experience with TikTok, Google Ads, Shopify, and ideally Snapchat and Pinterest.
Strong knowledge of digital metrics including ROAS, MER, and NCAC.
Understanding of funnel marketing, landing pages, and customer journeys in an ecommerce context.
High attention to detail, proactive communicator, and a natural problem solver.
Team-oriented with a collaborative, open attitude aligned to Growth Huntr's company culture.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth agency environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage cross-border accounts and grow ad spend month over month.
