Assistant Accountants (Accounting)

Full time

$75,000 – $85,000 per year

Kartaway is a family-owned business that has been trading for over 100 years, operating in three states, is seeking an Assistant Accountant. This full-time ongoing position will be the right hand of the CFO. This onsite role is based at our head office in Brunswick East of Melbourne.

Key functions include:

Prepare monthly general ledger reconciliations

Perform the daily bank reconciliations

Prepare monthly management & board reports

Prepare and lodge statutory tax obligations – BAS, PAYG and Payroll Tax

Provide support to branch managers & staff with queries

Assist with accounts payable & accounts receivable functions

Assist with the annual budgeting process

Ad hoc reporting

Skills and Experience

Fromal accounting qualifications – degree level

Experience in a similar role

CPA qualifications are desirable

An Excel master!
